Surfing Media Billows

News arrives in waves, some days the waves are normal and even boring, suddenly a storm appears and the waves go crazy.
The recent war in Lebanon put some bread in the plate of media manipulation as advertising rates go through the roof when war breaks out.
Bread must also be raining on the Israeli Military Industrial Complex as they mass produce to rearm.
Of course that is what military industrial complexes are about.
Witness the knee bending Olmert begging for early delivery of bunkerbuster and rocketbusting cluster bombs.
Happy to oblige, and meanwhile lets have a ceasefire so Hezbollah can rearm, certainly do not intercept missles entering Lebanon from Syria.
France put its foot forward with this pseudo ceasefire and spoke of leading "peacekeeping forces" into the region.
Ah! What heroics , my heart swells in pride for France.
Alas today France spoke its true heart declaring they would send 200 peacekeepers to the region, lets see thats less than the United States Army lost to a single suicide bomber.
Meanwhile the Lebanese Army moves south, an infant in the midst of hardened warriors, they are being led as lambs to the slaughter.
Israel launched a deep incursion today, to the Bekaa Valley, to stop arms shipments from ever hostile Syria.
This of course was seen as a breach in the ceasefire, and all those civilians returned home, thinking it was safe.
Now they are in the crossfire again, and if the Lebanese army begins to fight along side of Hezbollah, the War suddenly be between Lebanon and Israel.
The U.N. /U.S. had watched hopefully as Lebanon struggled to its feet after Syria {supposedly} removed its troops.
Strange Weather...
Anyone notice the lack of hurricanes this season? It's a bit strange don't you think?
China had a typhoon or cyclone very devastating.
How about this guy John Mark Karr? He says he raped and murdered Jon Benet Ramsey.
The media just took this one too far, all the attention to an absurd individual, makes my stomach turn to see his face.
Is he guilty? Who knows, who cares, take it out with the trash.
Would be nice if the Media would just drop it.
I believe our minds are to be pounded with the details of this case, {like every case that has something horrible or abominable in it}, a " shock and awe" attack on the mind, tinkering with our thinkering, carpetbombing our normal thought patterns.
On such days I turn the TV down, though still on the news channel, and I listen to some classic rock and sing, knowing I am a product of this culture and seeing clearly its darkening heart.
